Why are you afraid of sharing your wins?
He who has a mouth should preach the glory of themselves.
Hi Superstar,
There is this myth that sharing your achievements jinxes your future success. However, there is so much motivation for other people when you share your wins.
This year, my goal was to be more aware and appreciative of the little many miracles and use them to inspire others. I remember hearing a testimony of a Law student who built up her CGPA to a first-class from her third year. I was so inspired and when I thought it was impossible as a result of my previous performance, I made a first-class GPA in my third year, the first semester.
In another instance, my favorite posts on social media are the ones of job offers, scholarships, relocation, and business grants. Whenever I come across such posts, I always say, ‘my turn, soon’ and something relative always comes up.
The point here is that- it’s definitely okay to celebrate your wins with others. Not only does it inspire them but it motivates you to reinforce your success.
Also, sharing your success begets more success. When you share your wins, people look for ways to participate and add to your success.
So the next time, you achieve a win, no matter how small, bask in the glory of your achievement. Don’t downplay it and ignore anyone that says you’re bragging.
*After all, God gave you shoulders for a reason, raise them up*
