Hi Superstar,
There are times when we are on the edge of giving it all up, not knowing what to do and some times, not having anyone to help us back up. Well, it’s okay if this has happened to you. I believe almost all of us have been there at some point in our lives; I certainly know I have. And for some, this was how 2022 played out and there is still the recovery of heart breaks, career setbacks and loss of opportunities.
However, this is 2023 and it’s our moment. We will persevere, flourish and rise up. Like Andra Day said,
When the silence isn't quiet
And it feels like it's getting hard to breathe
And I know you feel like dying
But I promise we'll take the world to its feet
And move mountains
Bring it to its feet
And move mountains
We are more stronger than we imagine. If our intentions makes most of our reality, then I believe if we think of ourselves strong, then there is nothing we can not accomplish.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT A REMOTE WORK POLICY
Let’s talk about Remote work policy
Remote work policy is a permanent or temporary agreement between a company and its employees. It is a guideline that regulates employees that work from a non-office location. The policy outlines specific details between the company and the employee, which may include;
The number of days working remotely
The type of work
The legal rights of the employees
The best practices to follow, such as communication, working hours, wellbeing, and cybersecurity.
Why is Remote Work Policy Important?
It makes remote work more effective without companies having to monitor or track their employees’ productivity.
It provides Employees with clarity on Salary and Benefits, Tax issues, Office hours, Training, Work regulations and Security.
It reduces compliance risks and protects the company from unnecessary financial risks and complements the company’s business strategy.
And lastly, it helps to ensure excellent employee performance, engagement, retention and a great growth (sale) turnover for the company .

MANTRA FOR THE WEEK
A tough person will always overcome tough times. So be tough and don't give up when things aren't going they way you expect them to go. Just continue to push on, and you'll get to where you want to be. Tough times don't last; Tough people do.
Sincerely,
Your Biggest Cheerleader,
Mary-Esther Anele
