Authoring Your Life
We Do Not Choose To Be Created, Nor Do We Choose How We Are Made, But We Choose How We Live
Hi Superstar,
I believe we are all Writers. We have the power to write out phenomenal opportunities for ourselves. This is why when authoring the story of my life, I don’t let anyone hold the pen. I have come to realize that people hate independence especially when it comes to building their future.
Life can be hard, yes
But living a life built for you by another person is harder. Because in that world, you are not you, you are theirs…. you are a slave.
However, when you are the author of your life, you are the creator. You create the life of your dreams -The job you work in, the way you live, and the people you surround yourself with, are all your choice.
In essence, you are the only one who can choose your career path. Your happiness depends on whatever choices you make. As adults, we spend 8 hours of our life daily at work, in five years that will be 43,830 hours of our lifetime. So, landing yourself in the wrong job literally means you have wasted 43,830 hours of your life.
So, you need to be smart when you are taking a decision about your career.
You will have to look into different aspects of the job and decide, whether it will be suitable for you in the long run or not.
The planning will be a time-consuming affair, but to enjoy a successful and happy career, you will have to tread that path.

Do you believe in Dreams?
“People think dreams aren't real just because they aren't made of matter, of particles. Dreams are real. But they are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes.” - Lord Morpheus, King of Dreams
A Socio-Psychological article depicts that when dreaming is believing, it becomes reality.
Last week, I had a dream. I was in a conference room being introduced as the CEO of a recruitment company. I looked young and brilliant. There were shocks and disapprovals from the board members until they introduced me as “Oh, she is the founder of InclusivelyRemote” and immediately their faces changed to that of shocks and admiration.
Darlings, I have been thinking of the dream for days now.
“What will IncluisvelyRemote become in 5 years?”
I have decided that I don’t want to wait for 5 years to see it, I want to see it through.
I will be turning 21 on the 21st of August and one of my gifts is advancing InclusivelyRemote from a Newsletter to a Remote Board website….. I don’t want to wait for 2027 to see IncluisvelyRemote go global, I rather see it now.
Stay tuned, Darlings!
With Love,
Mary-Esther
I subscribed to this newsletter a long time ago and I have taken out today to read all of them. The theme of the letters for this particular month moved me to comment because I love it. We only become what we want by acting, by taking charge of our lives knowing that the universe would give what we want only if we ask and are determined. Thank you for this newsletter Mary-Esther, I look forward to implementing all that I've learnt from these letters.
